Will Kurtz
 Originally from the Central Florida area, Will joined the U. S. Navy a month after graduation from high school. He served with honor and quickly rose in the enlisted ranks, ultimately earning a commission as a Naval Officer.
During his Navy career, Will was stationed in the Pacific and on the East Coast where he was deployed to the Persian Gulf in support of military efforts in Iraq, and the Caribbean, and Eastern Pacific Counter-Narcotics-Terrorism operations. During his military career, Will received four Navy-Marine Corps Commendation Medals, five Navy-Marine Corps Achievement Medals and several other commendations.
Will completed his bachelors degree while attending Auburn University and received his Juris Doctor Law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville. In Sept. 2008 Will retired from active duty as a Lieutenant.
Will began his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney for the State of Florida in the Fourth Judicial Circuit. He successfully tried over 30 jury trials ranging from DUI and domestic battery to burglary and murder cases. While an Assistant State Attorney he led the Domestic Battery Unit and was awarded the 2009 County Court Attorney of the Year. After being promoted to the Circuit Court, Will prosecuted hundreds of serious felony cases for the State of Florida.
